The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is hard at work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
SSVP makes Calgary a better place.
The National Council has launched its Emergency Funds Appeal to help people impacted by natural disasters in Canada. Dangerous fires continue to spread throughout the country, forcing people to evacuate their homes. Floods and other unforeseeable events also pose threats to communities across Canada.
Donations will be used by our Conferences and Councils to complement the relief efforts by first respondent organisations, focusing on food and clothing.
Every dollar donated will be matched by National Council, up to a limit of $25,000.

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy.
In parishes where SSVP is active, many Vincentians deliver emergency food hampers to individuals and families in need. In addition to providing food , Vincentians sometimes help people access funds for housing, utilities and other essential needs. Vincentians who conduct Home Visits work with individuals and families who need help accessing other social and economic supports.
