The Society of St. Vincent de Paul depends on the time and passion of its many, many volunteers.
Volunteer tasks range from packing and delivering emergency food hampers, to stocking food pantry shelves, gathering donations from schools and community agencies, or joining a team of Vincentians who visit people in their homes.
All Vincentians are asked to participate in a formal police security check and will receive volunteer training. Training includes an on-line course offered through the Calgary Catholic Diocese. The on-line modules, which are easy to complete and take less than two hours, prepare Vincentians to work with vulnerable Calgarians.
